Elizabeth's Best Allergy Life - "The Allergy Queen"
by Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino on July 10th, 2011
I've lived the last fourteen years of my life with the nickname of "Allergy Queen".I have Anaphylaxis to all nuts, peanuts, shellfish, fish.
I also have Anaphylaxis to Aspirin and Iodine dye and some antibiotics.
Our family has been learning to manuever with my multiple food allergies for many years now.
I've been resuscitated twice and have had around 18 brushes with Anaphylaxis (life or death situations.)
I am a spokesperson for MedicAlert Foundation, a member of FAAN, and have appeared in Gina Clowes book "One of the Gang".
I hope you will read my posts at Best Allergy Life (www.bestallergylife.com) and pass them along to those they might help.
I've also started a new network called Best Allergy Network (www.bestallergynetwork.ning.com) in hopes that many will join and share their allergy stories.
Love,
Elizabeth
