Maine Cookie Company: In addition, they own the Maine Cookie Company. Maine Cookie Company was established in 2002 in Antioch, CA and was originally known as Tahoe Cookie Company by owners Elizabeth Hamilton-Guarino and her husband Peter Guarino. The company specialized in making their delicious nut-free chocolate chip cookies and donating them to children and adults in connection with children’s literacy, youth sports and other charitable organizations. Elizabeth has had made and donated over 75,000 cookies to kids across the country since 2002, while Peter helped or watched the kids so the donations could be processed and filled.
